survival of the fittest?!?

i'm flabbergasted by religious sheeple who claim a loving and perfect god created our world and that everything was just hunky dory until humans abused 'free will' and introduced 'sin'. the ignorance and irrationality of this view is beyond words.

it seems even the most rational of our kind are prone to running down the human species in a somewhat similar manner, as george carlin did in the following youtube clip from one of his performances. here's a comment i just left there, along with the link:

'i love george carlin, consider him to be one of the most brilliant american comics and a great truthteller. this clip of him would be one of my favorites if not for the first minute in which he seems to be somewhat confused in claiming humans to be the only species which kills.
anyone familiar with the behavior of other large predator species like wolves and lions knows this to be, in a phrase george himself would use, stunningly full of shit!. male lions will kill the cubs of another male when they take over his territory, so that the female will go into estrus and they then can impregnate her with their own cubs. and in a nature documentary on pbs about arctic wolves, it's stated that the greatest danger these wolves face is from their own kind. different packs will fight and kill each other over territory, and even raid each other's dens to kill the young there. these are just 2 examples. so while it's true that humans are killers, we're hardly unique in that respect.'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dY4WlxO6i0&t=240s

it seems that the most essential trait a predatory animal can possess in order to survive is ruthlessness. not intelligence, or anything else. ruthlessness. a determination to survive and get one's genes into future generations at the expense of others, no matter how high that expense to others may be. does this (sur)reality, this ruthlessness, suggest that our world was created by a loving and perfect god??? i think not!

ruthlessness supercedes intelligence in this time of human population overshoot, resource depletion and degradation, climate disruption, etc., including the insane idea that a finite planet can support infinite population and economic growth of our species, and all the deceit, mayhem, and murder that the most powerful of our kind are responsible for, clearly it's the most ruthless, and not the most intelligent among us who rule over this tragic, ill fated world. Just as clearly, in the absence of intelligence, ruthlessness alone is (eventually) a one way ticket to oblivion.

citizen lane

oliver stone's film 'JFK' was what first turned me on to becoming a 'conspiracy theorist'. after watching it a couple of times i checked out the books upon which it was based, which eventually led me to the work of mark lane, one of the leading original critics of the trumped up warren commission report. lane wrote several books on the subject, imo the best definitive accounts of CIA involvement in that crime and it's cover-up.

mark lane's birthday is feb.24. he died a couple of years ago. fortunately, before that a great documentary on his life was made. it turns out citizen lane was involved in a lot more than JFK research; he led a fascinating life of adventure and accomplishment. this heart warming documentary comes with my highest recommendation!

sexual dystopia

any society which seeks to stigmatize and/or criminalize lustful sex for pleasure, satisfaction, or profit is sick n evil. such 'morality' is perverse. 'free love' is ideal, virtuous. bonobo chimps epitomize this. they're far more peaceful among themselves than their closest cousins, humans and 'regular' chimps. i strongly suspect that human societies, if allowed 'free love', will/would also be a lot more peaceful. a lot more compassionate. sexual repression is mean spirited, and it makes sheeple mean spirited. i suspect this pleases 'authority'. it not only divides and alienates, it fosters frustration and rage. facilitates war and warrior spirit.

the main reason i've come to loathe dogmatic puritanical patriarchal religions like christianity is their sexual repression. i think it's a tool of psychological control. i think it's a humiliation, a way for 'authority' to let us know who's boss. without sexual freedom, without freedom over one's own body and relationship freedom, 'freedom' is a farce. sheeple aren't free! we're slaves of the state, of 'authority', of dogmatic puritanism. this is also why i've grown to utterly despise 'authority'. huge resentment.

'authority' in my society/culture comes from deceit, violence, intimidation, fear. the vast majority of sheeple are brainwashed to embrace 'authority'. brainwashed to believe bullshit like humans are 'sinners' in need of not only redemption, but puritanical control. this is a primary reason i've come to have much contempt for sheeple in general. much alienation, self isolation. i'm in rebellion, quiet rebellion, largely closeted rebellion.

i used to be brainwashed too, a long time ago. brainwashing is ubiquitous in my society. parents who don't brainwash their kids are in danger of being charged as immoral, unfit. their kids can be taken away. besides the fact we're facing rather imminent doom, this is another very powerful reason in my view for not procreating. sexual dystopia! it affects and poisons all intimate relationships, not just sexual ones!

'we care about u'

i live in a rural area of small towns with a couple of very small cities within 50 km..  One of these little cities is opening a new hospital soon. i doubt the 'old' hospital needed replacing. it's probably similar to the way american professional sports owners often claim their 'old' stadium or venue has become outdated after perhaps only 30 years, and they need to build a new one (often at local taxpayers expense) to remain 'competitive' with 'other markets'. iow, it's all profit, not need driven. it's all about a society gone mad with it's own power and affluence, paying no heed to scientific warnings of over-reach and collapse and deadly climate change (extinction threatening climate change!), addicted to 'free enterprise' capitalism, viewing mother nature as it's bitch, and it's own power as unlimited. no need to heed the scare mongers and worry warts; we're in control! or so our rulers seem to think. our true rulers, the political power brokers and puppet masters.

of course our banking system is a grand ponzi scheme, dependent upon growth to pay back loans. perhaps it's big banksters calling the shots, for while governments everywhere are adapting more or less (in the usa it's very much less) to the threat of manmade climate change, going 'green' somewhat, none of them seem to be coming to grips with the stark fact that infinite growth in a finite world is impossible and that very soon we'll be reaping the consequences of this idiotic pursuit. as will our children and grandchildren and any other future generations blessed/cursed to live in the end times of industrial civilization. something i don't like to think about but can't help doing so...

anyway, my point is that whoever or whatever is running this freak show is insane, or just not concerned with our welfare or the welfare of other species on earth.

immense deficit spending such as the american federal government is currently engaged in, as it has periodically engaged in for decades, is designed to add fuel to the fire of  'growth'. some sheeple point out how running up huge debts burdens future generations economically. what they generally fail to point out is how it subsides business activity, activity which is rapidly depleting critical natural resources, resources which won't be available to future generations when they're most critically needed. and it's helping drive fossil fool consumption and climate change, so paying off past debts shall be the least of their worries.

anyhow, back to this new and almost certainly unnecessary new hospital in my area. it's engaged in a propagandistic advertising blitz announcing the grand opening of their new facility next month. the propaganda can be boiled down to the ad's catch phrase: at so and so hospital, 'we care about u'.

free enterprise american healthcare is a disgrace. the per capita costliest healthcare system in the world, with very poor results to show for it. that is, poor health results for americans, compared to most other wealthy nations with more socialized systems. otoh, i'm pretty sure it's very profitable for many owners and providers of american healthcare, as it's designed to be.

the rich are often called greedy, criticized for accumulating obscene amounts of 'wealth'. many sheeple question why this is, considering the limited satisfaction money can buy, and the many more precious things it can't, like health, esteem, love. but see, there's one thing obscene amounts of money can buy which is very important, and that is power, political power. if u can control politics, u de facto rule, and that's what the super wealthy do in america and no doubt elsewhere, more or less (in america, it's much more).

in a nutshell, the pursuit of great wealth is the pursuit of great power. and u know the old saying 'power corrupts'. rings true, imo. this is at the heart of our dystopia. i'm afraid only collapse will kill it, as it will kill many of us. i digress.

american corporations and big businesses like hospitals are in business for one primary purpose: profit. if they actually cared about the public they purportedly serve, they wouldn't do things like price gouge. pharmaceutical companies, another big branch of american healthcare, are notorious for the same practice. they too spend big bucks in propaganda ads and p.r. efforts to gain public favor or at least acceptance. and sadly, they succeed enough so that america remains saddled with this 'free enterprise' system which enriches the few at the expense of the many, many of whom are brainwashed to support what isn't in their own best interest. capitalism! the american establishment! economic growth! jobs and industry!

ridiculous and repugnant. sick n evil. dystopian and doomed.

michael c. ruppert

this is in honor of another unsung american hero who did what he could to inform the public of the truth of our dystopian and doomed world. tomorrow would have been michael c. ruppert's 69th birthday. he committed suicide 6 years ago, heart broken i think over his inability to save our world. below are links to his most notable video, COLLAPSE, and his magnum opus book about peak oil and 9/11, CROSSING THE RUBICON.

ruppert was a doomer par excellence. it should be noted here that in the year 2008 when this video was produced consensus opinion among rational knowledgable doomers was that peak oil was imminent if not already past. u may recall the financial fiasco, the bankster bailout, oil spiking to $147 a barrel, and the recession that followed. this was the beginning of the end! well, we were all wrong. rather than having a sharp peak, we're seeing a prolonged plateau of oil production, apparently abetted by resorting to increasingly expensive and environmentally destructive means, such as deep sea drilling and fracking on land.

so our timing was off, but the basis for pessimism remains unchallenged. in fact, imo it's increased. our species is flocking nuts! rather than getting surrealistic in the face of impending self-induced doom, our (mis)leaders continue with business (as usual) their main priority, keeping the pedal to the metal in the pursuit of eternal 'growth', seemingly oblivious to physical limits and scientific alarms.

and the sheeple? sadly, most of us are delusional and/or oblivious too. red pill radicals are rather few and far between, and i imagine many are like me, mostly closeted as a result of being daunted, not up to the immense task of trying to fight the tide of insanity we're swept up in. we see the best among us like mr. ruppert make very valiant efforts to do so, with discouraging results. we also see the great shersonal cost of effectively and resolutely speaking red pill radical truths, doing one's best to reach a broad and receptive audience, and facing official harassment or worse as a result, as the main result. sure, thousands may be enlightened, but in a world of billions, thousands aren't cutting it! the masses aren't getting it, in my experience and view because they're just too damned dumbed down and dogmatized. irrational. insane. just like our (mis)leaders!

collapse is coming, and not just because oil is being rapidly depleted and is essentially non-renewable and the most critical fossil fuel to the economy. other essential resources, in fact more essential to our very survival, are also being depleted and/or polluted at an alarming rate. healthy topsoil and fresh water, for example.

even more alarmingly, an ecological collapse or mass extinction event is underway, the oceans are being over fished, acidified, and warmed, resulting in coral reefs bleaching/dying and ocean ecology unraveling. industrial civilization is an onslaught against mother nature, wilderness, almost all non-human species. we're not taught this shit in school. most 'public' schools are designed to dull, not sharpen, intellect and curiosity, and they're damned good at it! i digress into dystopianism. back to doom.

have u ever read SIX DEGREES by mark lynas or UNDER A GREEN SKY by peter ward? if u haven't, chances are u're pretty clueless about the utter disaster we face with civilization induced climate change from fossil fuel burning. how radically and quickly our world can change, how inhospitable to most life, including human life, it can become, in a matter of decades, not centuries or millennia. we're talking honest to dog near term extinction, possibly prior to 2100!

collapse is coming well before then. it may not be imminent, but i'm pretty sure it's no more than a few decades distant. most likely prior to 2050. it's going to be one hell of a shock. brings to mind a lyric from an old song by the alternative metal band TOOL, song title AENIMA, with regards to an envisioned, mean spirited and sadly somewhat relatable deadly world cataclysm, accompanied by 'millions of dumbfounded dipshits'. i think such will be the fate of not millions, but billions of sheeple. before climate change supplies the likely coup de grace to homo inanis (i substitute inanis, which is latin for foolish, for sapiens, which is latin for knowing, or wise, as i think foolishness best describes us and will demise us).

enough of my prattling.
