great analysis from breakthrough news of how u.s. corporate media serves as pro establishment propaganda and seeks to discredit dissident anti imperialist voices with the charge that they're spreading disinformation. this video is 78 minutes long. liberals especially who still trust 'liberal' lamestream media like the ny times (war crimes!) could learn something from it, if only they could admit that their present worldview is wrong. i think they're rather like religious conservatives in being resistant to having long cherished views shown to be wrong. plus, if they did so they risk becoming alienated from their liberal friends and having to make new friends as outcasts, social outcasts. perhaps if one is not used to such a role, it could be too difficult to try coming into it relatively late in life. i've felt like an outcast for so long that i'm used to it, it's no big deal.
